SPREP Launches Climate Change Toolkit for Pacific Media[viewed]

The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) has launched a toolkit to support journalists in the Pacific region in effectively communicating on climate change and related environmental issues. The toolkit consists of a series of factsheets containing information on different aspects of climate change, and a manual of activities for improving journalists' climate change reporting and interview techniques.

International Day Highlights Need for Full Implementation of Indigenous Peoples' Rights[viewed]

Representatives of indigenous peoples, Member States and UN agencies marked the International Day of the World's Indigenous People with an event on the theme, ‘Bridging the Gap: Implementing the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.'
